American Institute for Professional Training and Development, Inc. Registration Payment Terms

Last updated: July 19, 2026

These Registration Payment Terms (“Payment Terms”) govern registration for and payment of workshops, courses, certification programs, and other offerings (“Programs”) provided by American Institute for Professional Training and Development, Inc. (“AIPTD,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By registering for a Program and submitting payment, you (the “participant” or “registrant”) agree to these Payment Terms. These Payment Terms are part of, and governed by, the AIPTD Terms of Use, including its “Dispute Resolution” provisions.

Program Fees

Fees for each Program are listed on the applicable registration page at the time of registration. All fees are stated and payable in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise noted. AIPTD may update Program fees at any time, but a change does not affect a registration that has already been confirmed and paid.

Payment Methods

AIPTD accepts payment by major credit and debit cards through a secure third-party payment processor. Payments are handled by the processor, and AIPTD does not collect or store your full card details on its own systems. By submitting payment, you authorize AIPTD and its payment processor to charge the applicable fee to the payment method you select.

When Payment Is Due

Full payment is required at the time of registration unless a written payment arrangement has been approved by AIPTD in advance. Your registration is not confirmed, and a place in the Program is not reserved, until payment has been received and processed successfully.

Registration Confirmation

Upon successful payment, you will receive a confirmation by email at the address you provide during registration. If you do not receive a confirmation within a reasonable time, please contact us at registrations@aiptd.org so we can verify the status of your registration. Please keep your confirmation for your records.

Declined or Failed Payments

If a payment is declined or cannot be processed, your registration will not be confirmed and any place that was held for you may be released. You are responsible for providing a valid payment method and for ensuring your payment is completed successfully.

Taxes

Program fees do not include any sales, use, value added, or similar taxes that may apply in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for any such taxes imposed on your registration. Where AIPTD is required by law to collect a tax, that amount will be shown at checkout and added to your total.

Donations

Donations to AIPTD are voluntary charitable contributions, are not payments for Programs, and are not governed by these Payment Terms or the Cancellation and Deferral Policy. Except as required by law, donations are non-refundable. Tax receipts are provided in accordance with applicable law.

Cancellations, Transfers, and Refunds

Cancellations, deferrals, substitutions, and credits are governed by the AIPTD Cancellation and Deferral Policy, which is incorporated into these Payment Terms by reference. In summary, you may transfer your registration to another individual at no charge up to 24 hours before the Program begins, defer to a future Program, or receive a refund or credit, with eligibility depending on how far before the Program start date you send your request. To cancel, defer, or substitute, email cancellations@aiptd.org; your request is effective on the date you send it, and AIPTD will confirm receipt in writing. Please review the full Cancellation and Deferral Policy before registering. If there is a conflict between these Payment Terms and that policy on the subject of refunds, credits, or deferrals, the Cancellation and Deferral Policy controls.

Program Changes by AIPTD

Programs require a minimum enrollment to run. If a Program does not meet minimum enrollment, AIPTD may reschedule or cancel it. AIPTD may also cancel or reschedule a Program due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control (for example, and without limitation, instructor illness), with as much notice as practicable. If AIPTD cancels a Program, you will receive a full refund. If AIPTD reschedules a Program, your registration carries forward automatically, or you may request a full refund or a credit if the new date does not work for you, as described in the Cancellation and Deferral Policy. AIPTD is not responsible for travel, accommodation, or other ancillary costs you may have incurred in connection with a Program.

Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us at billing@aiptd.org before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your card issuer, so that we can review and resolve the matter directly. Filing a chargeback without first contacting AIPTD may delay resolution.

Changes to These Payment Terms

AIPTD may update these Payment Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your registration applies to that registration. The current version will always be available on our website.
