AIPTD ChatGPT Practitioner Certification
The ChatGPT track completed end to end, closed with a certificate exam.
The ChatGPT track is AIPTD's leveled path for everyday ChatGPT use: purposeful use of the tool first, then the workflow habits that make it part of daily work, then the discipline to build and maintain a reliable custom GPT. This certification is that track completed end to end, closed with a certificate exam.
Each level is a catalog workshop you can also take on its own. Completed as the certification path, the three workshops build on one another, and the exam covers the full stack: model and prompting fluency, daily workflow integration, and the engineering discipline behind a reliable custom GPT.
Participants who complete all three workshops and pass the certificate exam receive the AIPTD Certificate of Proficiency as a ChatGPT Practitioner.
Issued by AIPTD. This is an independent professional credential. It is not issued or endorsed by OpenAI, and it is separate from OpenAI's own certifications.
Participants will learn to:
- Use ChatGPT with working fluency: model selection, prompting discipline, and verified research
- Build daily workflows for drafting, document analysis, and organizing ongoing work in Projects
- Design, test, and maintain a reliable custom GPT, and recognize when a request is better resolved without building anything

The Certificate Exam
An assessed evaluation covering all three levels: model and prompting fluency, daily workflow integration, and the discipline behind a reliable, maintained custom GPT. Complete all three workshops within 12 months, then request the exam (US$150); we will verify your completion and schedule your sitting. Passing the exam completes the certification.
